Softlips Review and Giveaway - Closed

I'm a Vaseline Lip Therapy girl with tubes of vaseline in the bathroom, purse, kitchen, and next to the treadmill.  I was skeptical when I was asked to review Softlips because I did not think anything could replace my Vaseline Lip Therapy.  Hint:  the outcome of the review is good.

I was sent a nice selection of Softlips Pure Naturals to review.  Right off the bat I liked how there is a natural SPF (15) in all the products.  Softlips says:

I tried all three lines from the Softlips Pure line (source for all images).  I tried the glosses and tints when I was running, swimming, out running errands, gardening, over and under lipstick.  My favorite was the lip gloss, especially when running and in combination with lipstick.  I put the Softlips gloss on before my run and there was still gloss on my lips long after my run!  (Vaseline doesn't even last my whole run.)  I really liked the gloss over lipstick, it felt like my lips were moisturized and shiny.  The downfall is that when I run I occasionally wipe my mouth with my shirtsleeve and I now have one gloss mark that doesn't want to come out of my shirt (I washed and dried the shirt before remembering the spot was there, so it wasn't treated).  I have a feeling that if you treat the spot before washing it will come out without much work.

The lip balm did not hold up as long while running, but it is still worth getting!  It was my favorite to wear swimming and when I needed something a little more weight.

I tried out the lip polish and loved it!  Although, I don't have much reason to exfoliate my lips during the summer so after trying it out I put it in the closet to await winter.  I love running outdoors during the winter and my lips can take a beating with the cold air.  I think the lip polish will work to keep my lips looking good and hopefully not all chapped.
