Wish List

6 x 800 was not terribly fun this morning, but I finished it just fine.  I did a .1 to .15 mi rest interval between sets at a very slow pace.  I remembered to warm up and cool down, but I just wanted to be done so I probably didn't focus as much as I should have.  Even though this morning was not the best run, I can't wait to run again tomorrow!

I'm still sitting on some birthday money.  Don't worry, you didn't miss my birthday, it was back in March.  I am like that with money, I have a hard time parting with it.  I think I finally have my list narrowed down of what I want to buy.  What do you think?   Which should I get?
high quality reading

iFitness neoprene single pouch belt
 or
iFitness neoprene double pouch belt
And a new running skirt.  I have donated all my old skirts because they are all too big so I want a new one.

I like the double pouch. You can check out the book at the library.

I vote for one of the pouches. Most of the training plans are on the FIRST website and there's always the library =)

The double pouch is very neat! I say you get a new pouch and new skirt :) You will have a new motivation for a run with those items!

Go to the Library for the book, although my library doesn't have it and I have been wanting to read it so it might be worth buying it in that case.

Definitely get the iFitness belt and running skirt! Which running skirt are you getting??

Great job on the 800s!

My husband has read his copy of the book many times...and he takes it everywhere with him! seriously, it is so worn out the pages are torn and folded. They have a website too: http://www2.furman.edu/sites/first/Pages/default.aspx

The skirt sounds like a good choice and you deserve it!!

I have a spibelt (similar to the running pouch) and I totally adore it! I think you would love it!

tough choice -- my husband looves that book, and refers to it constantly. I'd probably go with the skirt, but the double pouch would come in a close second. Have fun shopping!

Hi Suzy,
I agree with Molly..get a new skirt or the double spibelt:) I have the single spibelt and wish I had a little bit more room.

I'd get a skirt and the book. Reward yourself with something to make you feel great and give you some quiet time for being great!

I vote for the book, btw. I have it, and I think it's great.

Get the double pouch. If it were me, though, I wouldn't be able to decided and would keep sitting on the money. :)

Personally, I would get the book. I like to dog ear the corners and refer back to them. And I'm ticked off at my spibelt (it was bruising my hip where it sat and moving around- I probably didn't have it tight enough!). So that's what I would do, haha.

Gosh, well good for you to save until you knew you really wanted something! Hard, hard to choose! Yes, check out book at library, not many times you can try out something and then go buy it if you really, really want it! I love my skirt and the belt would be super handy...congrats on your new smaller size - you look tiny in your pics! Came over as new reader from Tall Mom - great blog!
